The new 26” Pietzo Journey hybrid electric bike offers a powerful ride that speeds riders up any hill, allows for fast acceleration and with three adjustable levels of pedal assist, fits any road terrain.  This Pietzo model is particularly well suited for commuters, corporate fleets, private security patrols, and demanding recreational enthusiasts. 

The Journey’s battery-powered motor kicks in as you pedal allowing you to bike more miles with less exertion. You can take advantage of the battery and motor’s power in two ways: with pedal assist to add as you pedal, or with the throttle to move you forward without pedaling.  Use the power going to work, and arrive sweat-free; then turn it off on the way home to get a workout as you would with any conventional bike. Journey’s 3-speed front derailleur and 7-speed rear derailleur provide a total of 21 gear choices giving you great flexibility for the territory and conditions when you’re not using the motor. 

With its low step frame the Journey bike easily accommodates both shorter and taller riders, from 5’ to 6’ 5” and is easy to maneuver and get on and off in urban traffic. The road tires offer good traction and also low rolling resistance for faster movement on pavement.

Every Pietzo electric bicycle delivered in our showroom comes fully assembled and tuned, any shipped order will require minimal assembly. The Journey also includes fenders, rear rack, and front and rear lights. Journey's battery adapter plugs into any standard electrical outlet to charge.
