The Pietzo electric bicycle family has been sourced from all over the world based on our specifications and target customers. Our leaders are veteran entrepreneurs, engineers and environmentalists. Hemang Dave and David Page assembled a team of experienced leaders with backgrounds in transforming innovative ideas into world-class solutions and highly successful companies. They come with multiple years of successful engineering development and business building experience to shape the products, services and platforms that are remaking personal transportation solutions that address urban congestion and pollution for both the commuter and the organization. Pietzo's management team and advisors bring unique insight into the challenges and opportunities facing organizations as they look to deploy green fleet initiatives. They have worked at and for companies that include startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Management
Nora F. Gildea, Acting CEO & VP, Marketing
Nora is a dynamic marketing executive with more than 25 years experience in developing strategic and tactical programs to bring innovative products and services to market. As a consultant and Founder of Gildea Communications, she worked to build a world-class presence for her technology clients, helping them take advantage of new market opportunities. As the sixth employee of IDEAssociates, a PC aftermarket and communications vendor, she served as Vice President of Marketing where she had responsibility for product management, channel development, customer support and marketing communications. She has also held senior marketing positions with Oco, a provider of on-demand data integration and analytics solutions, and other software and media companies. She began her career working for the international division of McCormack and Dodge. Nora serves on a number of nonprofit boards including WEST (Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology). She received her BA from Brandeis University and an MBA from Northeastern University.
Joe Scaparrotta, Director of Business Development
Joe is an experienced leader who has demonstrated success in retailing for 25 years. He is one of the original employees of Staples, moving through a number of increasingly responsible positions during the growth of Staples from one store and 50 employees to a $27 billion Fortune 500 company. Throughout his career, Joe has been charged with the most critical aspects of building an enterprise, including new business concept rollout, small business performance improvement, driving business growth, sales and leadership development, performance improvement, supply chain management, merchandising, and training programs. Most recently, he played an important role in Staples' new copy and print shops startup. He also provided sales and operational guidance for the company's largest domestic retail division of over 300 stores. Joe hails from the Boston neighborhood of Brighton, and he has been active in supporting local commercial endeavors through volunteer roles with Boston Main Streets and the Brighton Board of Trade. Joe received his B.S. and MBA from Bentley University.

Hemang Dave
Hemang brings over 30 years of experience in creating innovative teams to bring compelling solutions to technical problems. His track record of success includes senior management roles at Prime Computer, ComputerVision, Lotus Development, CMGI, and THINQ Learning Solutions. He started his career in IBM as an EE/CS Engineer after graduating from University of Connecticut in 1978. His career has spanned computer hardware, software, internet, finance and new venture funding. He has founded 6 companies and has fostered the development of dozens more as an active mentor to entrepreneurs in the greater Boston area. He serves on multiple advisory and governance boards of innovative non-profit organizations in Boston. His passion is to help improve the world by solving complex and inter-disciplinary problems.
David Page
David brings over 30 years of experience creating, building and managing technology organizations. His track record of success spans the founding of two start-ups IDEAssociates and EnvoyWorldWide; two leverage buyouts Alcatel Data Systems and Network Solutions and the restructuring and sale of Tribotek. Throughout his career as COO/CEO he has developed and led teams that have successfully delivered software, SaaS, communication products and components to Global 1000 companies. His experience in building companies includes successful responsibilities for R&D, Quality, Service, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, and M&A. In addition Mr. Page has been responsible for many international supplier relationships. Early in his career Mr. Page worked at Hewlett-Packard. He graduated from Cornell University with a BSEE and holds an MBA from Harvard University.
Steve Mongeau
Steve is an experienced executive who has enjoyed repeated success in building businesses and leading high growth teams for more than 30 years. Currently, Steve heads up US operations for Glogster, a social media company in the educational market. In the past, Steve served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Eduventures, enhancing the higher education experience for both students and faculty across the country through research and consulting services. Steve also enjoyed many successful years of substantial growth with Staples Contract and Commercial business. Throughout Steve’s career, he has focused on customer needs in developing strategic initiatives to drive high levels of customer satisfaction and provide winning solutions to their identified challenges. Steve is a graduate of Cornell University and is an active volunteer in his local community, in addition to serving as a Vice Chair on the Board of Directors with the Samaritans organization.
